Stories of everything and nothing else

Bedroom featuring a galaxy mural on the ceiling, a woman sleeping, and a moonlit window
A serene bedroom with a cosmic ceiling mural and a green goblin sitting on the edge of the bed while a ghost peers in from outside.

It’s the edge of night and my eyes hurt

Too much heavy looking and breathing at the world

On this chaotic day of rest and wonder and all torn asunder

I dream in comatose fits

Mind flashes of impossible places

But then there I am

Crawling around in it like an animal with flammable fingers

Half seeing the clock and its silver hands

Yawning like paradise… What did I even do today?

Not much… Derailed by faulty item that cost too much and was of poor quality. ‘Merica. ‘Exico. ‘Hina. ‘Angladesh. ‘Anada. ‘Araguay. ‘Olivia. ‘Zerbaijan.

The hassle of it all pisses me off.

Had coffee and a muffin with a face.

Stayed up past the midnight plantation

Moons and stars swirled like acid

Planets of bold and gold tumbled like wash

“What you got there. Warsh?” asks Karl.

Damn the tricyclics of regret: Would of, could of, should of

But the past is gone yet it haunts

Like ghosts in the windows looking in

And laughing at all my misfortune.
