Stories of everything and nothing else

Magic

The sun is shining Black birds streak across the clear blue sky The grass and trees throb with summer green Spiral galaxies up above swirl in space madness Casting off new planets and stars Must be natural creation by a magic man And here I am, a millionth of a pinpoint Seemingly so insignificant Yet…

Silhouette of person standing on rocky cliff with Earth and Milky Way in background

The sun is shining

Black birds streak across the clear blue sky

The grass and trees throb with summer green

Spiral galaxies up above swirl in space madness

Casting off new planets and stars

Must be natural creation by a magic man

And here I am, a millionth of a pinpoint

Seemingly so insignificant

Yet my world to me is monstrous

So big and heavy I nearly collapse from the weight of it all

Why should I worry?

I don’t know what else to do

I’m trying to control the uncontrollable

And it’s driving me mad

Too many things wildly adorned

I’m suddenly sleepy

Like I’ve been befallen with magic dust
