The madhouse is all around us

This crazed emporium

Human beings forced to live like tattered dolls

Marching from home to war

Gnats in your dreams

Mannequins in the kitchen

Cooking eggs and toast

Percolating coffee

The ropes of defeated men

Wrap around rafters

The noose like a porthole

Looking out at the long sea of goodbye

The yawn of the great ocean

Sleep in magical orbit

A spaceship oscillating

Gravity all nonsense now
