There’s a wasp in my coffee
And I’m as agitated as a washing machine
This ridiculous world around me
The scale of incompetence
Grating on this pure rawness of life
Splinters of myself splintering
Will dignity ever be restored
Will existence not always be fear
My mind trembles in the morning
As the news of the day unfolds
What fortune teller etching
Will wipe the world away…
